Most, but not all, of the work found here are shots taken while traveling, moving, hiking. These are the "found" side of my work; images taken out of their contexts, pared down, distractions removed. Made simple.
But there is also a manufactured side, those images that have been built up; the blank canvas slowly added to until it resembles the thing I want it to be.
Does it matter which is which?
